The North Central I-35 Neighborhood Coalition is an organization spanning eleven neighborhood associations on both sides of I-35 through north central Austin.  Founded in 2000, the group is committed to engaging with TxDOT, elected officials, and other stakeholders on future plans for I-35.  The Mission of NCINC is to realize a better, multimodal I-35 corridor from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to Highway 183 including a comprehensive vision for its long-term future.
In February of 2020, an Urban Land Institute (ULI) panel of national experts will convene in Austin to talk and work with the community, gathering input and ideas about how to produce an actionable community vision around I-35.  NCINC invites you to a Visioning Session to share ideas for how to transform I-35 between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Airport Boulevard in a better neighbor to north central neighborhoods.  Community feedback and priorities will be provided to the ULI to contribute to its recommendations.  Please join us at Cherrywood Coffeehouse on Monday, February 3rd between 6 and 7pm.  All are welcome.
