**RESCHEDULED TO MONDAY, APRIL 8 DUE TO WEATHER** A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Donna Frost has been playing, writing, and recording music almost her entire life. From her days in the eighties with her punk-rock band The BUNNIEs, to her more recent role as Janis Joplin in the musical “Kozmic Blue“, to her latest recordings, she has been wowing audiences all over the world for years. In 2014 Donna released “Bare Bones”, a collaboration with rockabilly legend, Billy Hancock, as well as her fourth solo CD Ukeabilly Mama”, an all ukulele music project. She performs solo with her guitars, ukuleles and mandolin and logs thousands of miles year round performing shows in cities all across the US. A recipient of multiple ASCAPlus awards for her work as a singer/songwriter, Donna Frost was also a was a Kerrville New Folk finalist. A true traveling troubadour, a prolific songwriter with over 300 songs in her catalogue, and many stories to share in song, based on true-life experiences, Donna Frost will be performing at Cherrywood Coffeehouse on Saturday, April 6 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
